On August 21st, 2002 Club Nova Thrift Shop opened to the public. Once the decision was made to open the thrift shop to the wider community, major renovations had to be done to the premises and when they were finished the group faced the daunting task of organizing the shop. A large group of enthusiastic and talented members and staff including Steve Haebig, Santo Booth, James Ronald Woodcock, Jr., Heather Nash, Homer Morrow, Segun Shelton-Green, Jackie Pattisall, Ashley Longmire, Karen Fuller and Joyce Donevan. Together they did everything from assembling displays to organizing the shop's record keeping.
CNTS has now been open to the public for more than five years and many more dedicated members and volunteers contribute to it's success every day.
